These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ShopSilo platform, mobile applications, and website located at shopsilo.in ("Service"). By registering for an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Account Registration & Security

To access ShopSilo features, you must create a verified account using your phone number or Google Sign-In. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your authentication tokens, passwords, and 4-digit staff PINs.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

2. Permitted Use & Merchant Responsibilities

ShopSilo provides digital point-of-sale billing, inventory management, and udhar ledger records. As a store owner or user, you are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring all products, prices, and bills generated on the platform comply with applicable Indian commercial laws and tax regulations (including GST if applicable).
• Maintaining accurate records of credit (udhar) extended to your customers.
• Respecting your customers' privacy when sending WhatsApp notifications and invoices.

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to misuse the Service. Specifically, you may not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive retail transactions.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or probe vulnerabilities in our APIs or servers.
• Send unsolicited spam messages or harassment using our customer notification features.

4. Intellectual Property

The ShopSilo brand, logos, user interface designs, and underlying software code are the intellectual property of ShopSilo Technologies. Your transaction data, inventory records, and store branding remain 100% your property.

5. Termination & Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% service uptime. However, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in fraudulent activities, breach these Terms, or pose security risks to our platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

ShopSilo is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. In no event shall ShopSilo Technologies be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from store ledger discrepancies, device hardware malfunctions, or temporary network outages.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bihar, India.
